A little about our Wine Expert...

In 2008, Laureen Guerriero decided to combine her passion for wine, love of teaching and experience as a corporate trainer to start WineTimeCT. WineTimeCT’s mission is to help you uncork and appreciate the art in every bottle you open, in a fun and educational way…without the pressure to purchase wine!

Laureen is a passionate wine educator and enthusiast. She began studying wine as a hobby while living abroad in 2005. Her studies began by taking classes at local wine shops and continued by completing workshops at The Boston Wine Expo, Boston University, graduating from Wine Camp on Long Island and successfully completing the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Intermediate Certificate course at Johnson and Wales in 2009, passing with distinction. In 2010 she completed the WSET Advanced Certificate program in Boston. Laureen has explored and enjoyed the wine regions of: Italy (Piedmont), California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island and Virginia. Her philosophy…carpe diem with vino!


Why Vinyasa & Mindfully Wine?

Why combine yoga and wine? Wine Not?! Yoga is the perfect way to get us centered, relaxed and ready to learn and mediate on this fascinating and living beverage.  It is a big wine world full of variety and Laureen's goal is to help you feel confident when you go into a wine shop or open a restaurant wine list.

The goal of Vinyasa & Vino~ Mindfully Wine program is to:

  • Mindfully move
  • Mindfully sip
  • and have some fun while seizing the day- carpe diem with vino and like-minded yogis!

This workshop will start with 1 hour of all-level vinyasa to warm us up and get us relaxed and ready to joyfully and Mindfully Wine™. To follow, 1 hour of Grape education.  Along with specific wine education, you will learn how to get to know your local wine merchant/restaurant server and ask the right questions to choose a wine you love every time.  You will also be able to understand the wine list and take charge of your choices when you are dining out.

Have fun and enjoy learning… wine is a living beverage, meant to be enjoyed and not taken too seriously!
