Pilates classes strengthen the spine, alleviate back problems, increase muscular flexibility, reduce tension and improve joint pain to arthritis sufferers. Studies have shown that Pilates increases bone density and helps fight osteoporosis. Breathing is also improved, which aids relaxation and reduces anxiety. Pilates increases muscle strength and shapes the body for a longer, leaner look. Stronger abdominal muscles help to improve balance and give you a flatter stomach. Pilates is great cross-training for any sport or activity.

Pilates increases muscle strength and shapes the body for a longer, leaner look. Stronger abdominal muscles help to improve balance and give you a flatter stomach. Pilates is great cross-training for any sport or activity.
