Massage Therapists

Maria is a licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician. She has 18 years of experience. She specializes in deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral, hot stone, prenatal, and many other types of massages. As an Esthetician, Maria’s goal is to provide treatments that meet every client’s needs. She makes sure that her clients leave each session feeling confident and have an understanding on daily skincare regimen. Maria endeavors to make each meeting with her unique and at the end of the session she hopes to achieve bringing your daily life peace and balance, making your body and mind come together as one.

Laura graduated from The Colorado School of Healing Arts in 1994 as a Certified Massage Therapist and received additional certifications in Sports Massage and Reiki.  She is a creative massage therapist, specializing in healing massage using a variety of techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Trager, Sports and Reiki. For the past 19 years, Laura has been a member of the Sports Massage Team, providing sports massage to cyclists at the end of each grueling day on week-long bicycle tours. She has participated in Ride the Rockies, Bicycle Tour of Colorado, Pedal the Peaks, Courage Classic, Ride Around Wyoming, MS-150, Greater AZ Bicycle Tour, and IRONMAN Cozumel. Laura has an intense interest in sports and just competed in a triathlon. She enjoys cooking, hiking, cycling, running, volleyball and loves to be near the ocean.

Kyle is a Milford native and graduated from Branford Hall in December 2014. She is passionate about the maintenance of one’s self and believes that massage therapy contributes to a person’s overall well being for the mind, body, and spirit. Kyle is also a mother of two and empathizes with the physical and emotional tension women deal with during pregnancy. Although she especially enjoys deep tissue/theraputic massage, overall relaxation is the ultimate goal for each client. Kyle has found contentment and peace at Tranquility and hopes her clients find the same.

Trista has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2016 with a specialty in Oncology Massage. She is also a practitioner of Cranial Sacral Therapy, and a 10 year Reiki Master. Trista grew up in Santa Fe, NM, an environment that supported her as she explored the healing arts. Her life path has allowed her the privilege of working under and along side many native healers and teachers. Trista’s goal with each client is to meet you where you are in your body that day. Tailoring each session specifically to your needs. She is skilled in swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, and meditation.

Dan graduated from CCMT (CT Center for Massage Therapy) in 2005. His first Licensed Massage Therapist contract was in a nursing home where he works on patients rehabbing from surgeries, strokes, and falls. Following this, he joined a chiropractic office for over 8 years, where he developed certain strokes and techniques to help people to alleviate pain, increase flexibility and range of motion.  In January 2010, Dan joined CCMT Westport as a Massage Therapy Instructor. During the following six years, he helped students develop their skills in postural assessment, trigger point work, and deep tissue techniques. In 2016, he transitioned to serving as the Career Services Advisor until the school’s closing in June 2019. Dan has been a member of AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) since 2004 and also participates in the AMTA CT Chapter, Community Service Massage Team, and the Sports Massage Team. Dan has also recently become a Board Certified Tai-Chi Instructor and hopes to be able to start teaching live classes soon. Dan strives to help each client achieve the maximum therapeutic benefit from every session.

Hannah began her study of bodywork through her Ayurvedic Studies in New Mexico.  She was driven to understand and support the healing and growth of our minds, bodies and spirits through a holistic approach.  She moved to India to continue this journey furthering her study of Yoga and working in her teacher’s Ayurvedic Clinic performing Ayurvedic Massage and other bodywork treatments.  Hannah then traveled to Kauii,Hawaii where she graduated from the Structural Integration at the Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork.  Here she learned profound tools to help effect structural change in the body, to support injury healing and create better alignment.  Most recently she attended and graduated Cortiva Institute in Cromwell, Connecticut.  Hannah believes in the power of breath, movement, strength, and awareness to help create better freedom, less pain and more ease in the body.  She is currently completing a continuing education in Orthopedic Massage and is eager to help you whether your goal is to relax and let go or to dig deep and create change in the body.

Angie

Cynthia has been a licensed massage therapist since 2007 and graduated from Florida Academy of Massage and Skin care in Ft. Myers, Florida where she learned a variety of techniques. She understands that every person has unique challenges and preferences, and prides herself in being able to hone into the needs of each individual. Over 10 years of massage experience has taught her that every client is unique and should be approached with a fresh set of eyes and ears. She specializes in helping many people find relief from head, neck, and shoulder tension as well as clients who experience fatigue. Other areas of specialization are within the lower back region and Sciatica relief. Her techniques include deep tissue, relaxation, Myofascial and trigger point therapies. Regardless of a client’s needs, she enjoys creating a warm, relaxing environment in which to wind down into deep relaxation mode.

 

Estheticians / Nail Technicians

Rachael is a certified esthetician with 18 years experience in skin care. Her expertise also includes certifications in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, and Japanese Accupressure.  Rachael takes great pride in her knowledge and continually pursues education courses and lectures with the International Dermal Institute. Rachael has a comprehensive, holistic approach to skin care. Skin care is her passion and her most wonderful reward is being able to help her clients achieve their goals for their skin.

Maria

Adrianna is a licensed esthetician who truly loves making people look and feel their best. She enjoys connecting with clients to understand how to best help them with their bodies largest organ- the skin! Understanding how the environment, hormonal and lifestyle factors all contribute to the condition of one’s skin is crucial to creating a personalized skin care routine. Adrianna considers regular facials the perfect jump start to clear, youthful and rejuvenated skin.   Whether you have acne, congestion, aging or dull skin- she looks forward to helping you on your personalized skin care journey.  When it comes to nails- the worse, the better. Adrianna loves a challenge. Ingrown toenails and calluses are a nuisance to you but a treat to care for. Come let her pamper your hands and feet and restore them to a bright and shiny version of themselves.

Melissa is a graduate from Paul Mitchell in North Haven. She is a licensed esthetician and nail technician. Her goal is to educate her clients in skin health and function. She creates a custom skin care regimen for each client so they can achieve healthy skin.  Nail care is also a top priority! Creating a nail regimen is vital to maintain your nail bed health. Callus build up, ingrown nails, cracked cuticles are no match for her! You will leave her feeling your best in your skin.

Alleny graduated from Platt Technical School with a license in cosmetology. She truly loves making her nail clients feel pampered and special. Alleny enjoys being creative with manicures and pedicures. She also provides “pain-less” waxing services. 

Trish is a graduate from Oxford Academy and is a Licensed Esthetician.  Trish became interested in learning more about the complexity of skin disorders after suffering from Melasma for many years.  After becoming educated in the science of skin, she slowly faded her Melasma through the use of professional products and treatments.  She is passionate about helping all her clients feel their best whether they are seeking just to relax or looking for help with their own skin goals and concerns.

Alexis

Yarina who originally came from Ukraine, graduated the Brio Academy of Cosmetology in Connecticut in 2006 and since then has been professionally practicing as a certified licensed esthetician.  She is highly versatile and enjoys working with different skin types. Yarina specializes in performing relaxing and soothing facials while giving each facial her own European twist. In addition to facial services, she also specializes in full body treatments and waxing.  Being multilingual with languages such as Ukrainian, Russian and Polish, Yarina is able to communicate on a more personal level with all her clients.
